Talent ID Summer Camps
General Info
The Toronto Diving Academy holds talent identification camps throughout the summer for children 6-12 years of age. These fun and friendly camps will introduce your child to all aspects of diving training including:
- Trampoline
- Acrobatics
- Pool Time
- Strength & Conditioning
- Fun & Games
At the end of the camp, children who are interested in pursuing diving may be invited to one of our competitive groups or referred to another local program.
Entrance Criteria
Our Talent ID camps are open to any child age 6-12 who is able to swim in the deep end unassisted.
No diving experience is necessary
All new participants must register with Dive Ontario as a "recreational member" and pay the $35 membership fee (which covers mandatory Dive ON/Diving Plongeon Canada insurance) in order to take part in camp programs. Participants registered in any dive program in the province for the 2023/2024 season do not have to pay this fee again.
Dates & Registration
Summer 2024
We are running TDA diving camps the weeks of:
July 8-12 ($350 + $35 Dive ON fee)
July 15-19 ($350 + $35 Dive ON fee)
We are running a new TDA "Climb, Dive, Bounce" camp where campers will participate in all the regular diving activities plus sessions at the TPASC rock climbing wall. This camp is taking place:
July 22-26th ($350 + $35 Dive ON fee)
For artistic swimmers, we are planning on offering a diving/acrobatics training opportunity for flyers aged 12-16, more details to follow. Younger swimmers can sign up for one of our regular camps.
